AI Governance Specialist

About the role

Organisations are deploying AI assistants, agents and models faster than their governance can keep up. You will help our clients close that gap: inventorying AI use, assessing risk, designing policies and controls, and preparing for certification and regulatory obligations, working closely with our security testing and CISO advisory teams.

What you'll do

• Design and implement AI governance frameworks, policies and operating models for clients
• Build AI inventories and risk registers covering models, AI features, agents, data sources and third-party AI services
• Run AI risk and impact assessments, including data protection, security, bias and transparency considerations
• Map client practices to ISO/IEC 42001, the NIST AI Risk Management Framework and the EU AI Act, and produce gap analyses and roadmaps
• Define controls for model and vendor selection, evaluation, human oversight, monitoring and incident handling
• Work with our security teams to translate governance requirements into technical controls and testing
• Prepare clients for AI management system certification and internal and external audits
• Deliver training and awareness sessions for leadership and delivery teams

What we're looking for

• 5+ years in GRC, risk management, privacy or security consulting, with at least 2 years focused on AI or data governance
• Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 42001, the NIST AI RMF and the EU AI Act, and of ISO 27001 and data protection regulations such as GDPR and India's DPDP Act
• Understanding of how LLMs, RAG systems and AI agents work, and the risks they introduce
• Experience writing policies, risk assessments and audit-ready documentation
• Strong stakeholder management with both technical teams and executives
• Excellent written English

Nice to have

• ISO/IEC 42001 or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor certification
• IAPP certifications such as AIGP or CIPP/E
• Experience with model risk management in financial services or healthcare
