Project Manager – Cybersecurity

About the role

Our clients engage us for penetration testing, cloud security audits, compliance programmes and managed security services. You will plan and run those engagements end to end, coordinating testers, consultants and client stakeholders across time zones, and keeping quality, scope and communication on track.

What you'll do

• Plan and manage multiple concurrent security engagements: scope, schedule, resources, risks and budgets
• Run kick-offs, confirm rules of engagement and access, and coordinate testing windows with clients
• Track delivery against milestones and SLAs, and escalate and resolve blockers early
• Coordinate report delivery, remediation tracking and retesting with technical teams and clients
• Manage onboarding projects for managed security services, including log source integration and runbooks
• Support compliance programmes (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOC 2, HIPAA) with project plans and evidence tracking
• Maintain clear status reporting for clients and internal leadership
• Improve delivery processes, templates and tooling

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of project management experience, including at least 2 years on cybersecurity or IT infrastructure projects
• Understanding of security services such as penetration testing, audits, SOC operations and compliance
• Experience managing external clients and distributed teams across time zones
• Proficiency with project management tools (for example Jira, Asana or MS Project)
• Strong organisation, risk management and stakeholder communication skills
• Excellent written and spoken English

Nice to have

• PMP, PRINCE2 or Certified ScrumMaster certification
• A security certification such as CompTIA Security+ or ISO 27001 Foundation
• Experience in a managed security services provider
